The Bilbainas Viña Zaco Reserva 1981 is a lighter ruby color with a brick rim and a medium body. The nose starts with complex medley of sweet strawberry and dried cherry with hints of truffle, leather and tobacco; followed by preserved cherry and creamy strawberry flavors with a bright, long red apple and tobacco toned finish. Delicate, silky and vibrant.
Spanish Wine Exclusives is always in search of well-stored, mature wines—especially from great vintages. Our selections are made on the basis of high quality and consistency after multiple tastings. We source these rare vintage wines from private collections in the north of Spain. While they have good fill levels for their age, please note there will be some variation from bottle to bottle, as is normal for wines with decades of age. [More on our Rare Old Vintages]
